FTR Introduction on AT-CZ and AT-HU Borders

Dear Market Participants,

Please be advised that Financial Transmission Rights will be introduced on AT-CZ and AT-HU borders.

For monthly horizon, as from the monthly auction of market period July 2021, these border will switch from PTR (Physical Transmission Rights) to FTR (Financial Transmission Rights) options.

For yearly horizon, as from the yearly auction of market period 2022, these borders will switch from PTR (Physical Transmission Rights) to FTR (Financial Transmission Rights) options. Yearly Long-term Transmission Rights for market period 2021 remain PTR (Physical Transmission Rights) and will still be subject to the nomination.

The relevant, amended List of Bidding Zone Borders have been published on JAO’s website under section Support\Resource center\02. Auction rules and will come into force on the date of Interim Coupling go-live .
