New Auction Data API Launches Today!
JAO is thrilled to announce the official launch of its auction data API today.
Who is the API for?
We designed the API for all stakeholders interested in integrating JAO’s auction data into their own applications.
Which data is available?
Our API allows you to retrieve auction specifications, offered capacity, anonymised bids, auction results and capacity curtailments, for all corridors and horizons on which JAO holds explicit auctions.
All of this data is provided in real time.
How do I use the API?
Please read the attached user guide for a full list of calls available. The JSON schemas are available on our website under ‘Web Services > Auction Data’.
How can I register?
1) If you have a service desk account, please open a new ticket under ‘Technical Support’ and request an authentication token.
2) If you do not have a service desk account, please send an email to helpdesk@jao.eu with the subject ‘[API] Token Request’.
3) You will then receive our terms and conditions to read and accept.
4) Once you accept the T&Cs, we will send your token to you.
Do I need to register if I took part in the beta test phase?
No. If you already have an authentication token, you do not need to register again. However, you will soon receive an email asking you to accept our T&Cs.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part in the beta test phase. Your feedback is always greatly appreciated!
We trust that this new service will make your workflows more streamlined and effective. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any comments or concerns you may have.
