[TTN] Planned outages around Meeden 380 kV station

Dear market participants,

TenneT NL plans 12 days of maintenance in the Meeden 380 kV station from November 20 until December 1, 2023. As a result several network elements will be taken out of service.

One of the two 380 kV circuits from Eemshaven – Meeden – Zwolle will be out of service the entire 12 days. The Meeden – Diele tie-line both circuits will be out of service for two days, on November 29th and 30th.

To ensure safe operation during this planned maintenance, TenneT NL restricts active power generation in the Eemhaven region during this 12 days’ maintenance window. Please consult the ENTSO-E transparency platform for generator unavailability [link]. Furthermore, the interconnector capacity for Cobra will be ranging between zero and 70% of physical capacity, determined on a daily basis.

The combined effect of weakened topology and restricted power generation will impact the overall available generation in the Dutch biddingzone as well as available transmission capacity for cross zonal trade.
