Go-live of ALEGrO shadow auctions

Dear Market Participant,

 

We would like to inform you that shadow auctions for the ALEGrO (Germany – Belgium) interconnector will be launched on the 17th of November 2020 for business day 18th of November 2020.

 

In anticipation to this launch, starting the 13th of November 2020, you will be able to place default bids for the shadow auctions for the ALEGrO (Germany – Belgium) interconnector.

 

These auctions will serve as fallback mode for market coupling.

 

With this in place, we would like to remind you that the registration process for ALEGrO is open.

 

To register on ALEGrO shadow auctions, please follow below instruction:

 

1. First time registration

Please send the Participation Agreement accepting the “Relevant Shadow Allocation Rules” in Attachment 1 section 3 and selecting this border in Attachment 6, along with other registration documents.

 

2. Already registered

Please complete and send the latest version of the Participation Agreement Amendment available on our website, properly filled and signed, accepting the “Relevant Shadow Allocation Rules” in Attachment 1 section 3 and selecting this border in Attachment 6.
