Amendment of the allocation rules for IFA and IFA2 Interconnectors
Dear Market Participant,
We would like to inform you that an amendment of the Interconnector Access Rules for IFA and IFA2 has been approved by the relevant regulatory authorities, with effective date 1st June 2023. Our website has been updated accordingly with following allocation rules:
-Long Term Allocation Rules for IFA and IFA2
-Day Ahead Allocation Rules for IFA and IFA2
-Intraday Allocation Rules for IFA and IFA2
Changes included in the new Access Rules are:
-Enabling Long Term Transmission Rights returns in months with a planned maintenance period (Article 38.2 of Long Term Allocation Rules)
-The possibility to cancel long term auctions when no new capacity is to be sold (Article 52.3 of Long Term Allocation Rules)
-Clarification on process during balancing mechanism outages – ID auction cancellation (Rule 36.3 of Intraday Allocation Rules)
-Housekeeping changes
