Participate in the CORE Domain Code Change Test
Dear Market Participants,
JAO is pleased to inform you about an upcoming project aimed at improving the efficiency and standardization of file exchanges among TSOs, Market Participants and JAO. This project entails changing the domain codes used in the exchanged files to the one, unified CORE domain code (10Y1001C--00059P). The objective is to enhance communication and streamline processes on the CORE internal borders.
This change will not impact other aspects of the explicit capacity allocation process, such as Auction ID, TSO responsibilities, deadlines, or roles for sending curtailments and ATC information.
About the change
As of the 5th of December 2023, we will be using a new domain code for all borders associated with the CORE region. The new unified code 10Y1001C--00059P will replace all the existing codes:

Please make sure to update your applications accordingly.
This change will not affect other aspects of the explicit capacity allocation process, such as auction identification or deadlines for submitting your bids.
About the test phase
On the 4th and 5th of October 2023 we will run dummy long-term and shadow auctions to allow you to test your bid files, API calls, and the integration of eCAT’s output files in your applications.
To register, please reply to this email with the following data:
· Your company name
· EIC
· Name and first name of the person(s) who will participate to the test
· Email of the person(s) who will participate in the test
· eCAT User Name (if user is already registered)
Registration deadline: 22 September 2023
A Q&A session will be organized prior to the testing phase for Market Participants.
