Capacity Curtailment on the D2-DE border for delivery from 15-10-2023 to 21-10-2023
- TSO(s) *:
50Hertz and Energinet
- Identification of affected Long Term Transmission Rights
Yearly and Monthly LTTRs
- Triggering event :
Curtailment to ensure operation remains within Operational Security Limits
- Affected volume in MW / hour for each concerned period :
On the border DK2->DE, 186 MW Yearly and Monthly capacities for each hour over the whole curtailment period from 15.10.2023, 00:01 hrs. until 22.10.2023, 23:59 hrs.
On the border DE->DK2, 0 MW Yearly and Monthly capacities for each hour over the whole curtailment period from 15.10.2023, 00:01 hrs. until 21.10.2023 23:59 hrs.
- Amount of LTTR remaining after curtailment :
On the border DK2->DE: 64 MW
On the border DE->DK2: 292 MW
- Information on exact operational security limit(s) that are expected to be violated in the absence of curtailment *:
There is no alternative to the curtailment of the affected LTTRs.
Due to the unplanned outage of the Kontek Cable the maximum transmission capacity of the interconnectors on the border DE/LU – DK2 is limited due to the thermal capacity of the remaining grid elements.
- Why alternative measures are not sufficient to avoid the expected violation of operational security limit(s) *?
