[Core IDCC] Start of EXT//run of provision of capacities at 15:00 D-1

Dear reader, 

On the 4th of December 2023, Core TSOs will launch the external parallel run of the DA leftover capacity calculation according to Article 4(2)(a) and in line with Article 26(3)(b) of the Intraday Capacity Calculation Methodology of the Core CCR.  

The first business day that will be covered by this external parallel run is BD20231205. The objective is to successfully complete the process and publish the results for all 7 business days of the week. During the external parallel run Core TSOs will report on the stability of the process and the results towards stakeholders. This will be done during the stakeholder meetings and via a quarterly report which will be published on the JAO website. 

The updated IDCC publication handbook can be found here. Per start of the external // run, Core TSOs will start publishing the following data on the JAO publication tool (here) for the provision of capacities at 15:00: 

  • Initial ATC for SIDC 

  • Initial NTC for SIDC 

  • Final ATC for SIDC 

  • Final NTC for SIDC 

Please note that the external parallel run might be impacted in the future due to ACER's decision on the 2nd and 3rd amendment of the intraday capacity calculation methodology.
