REMINDER: CORE Domain Code Placeholder Test on the 6th of March 2024

We wish to remind you about the upcoming placeholder test scheduled for March 6th, 2024.

Purpose: The purpose of this test is to ensure readiness for the CORE Domain Code Change go-live.

Key Details:

  • Date: March 6th, 2024, starting 8:50 AM CET
  • Scope: The test will encompass the same parameters as the test conducted last year, ensuring familiarity and consistency.

    The new unified code 10Y1001C--00059P will replace all the existing codes in the CORE region:


Auctions impacted

All long-term and shadow auctions for the CORE region.

Files impacted

  • Bids
  • Allocation results
  • Programming authorizations (also known as “rights documents”)
  • Transfers


     

Please make sure to update your applications accordingly.

This change will not affect other aspects of the explicit capacity allocation process, such as auction identification or deadlines for submitting your bids.

About the test phase

On the 6th of March we will run dummy long-term and shadow auctions to allow you to test your bid files, API calls, and the integration of eCAT’s output files in your applications. 

Participation: Your active involvement is vital for the success of this test. We appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

·         EIC

·         Name and first name of the person(s) who will participate to the test

·         Email of the person(s) who will participate in the test

·         eCAT Username (if user is already registered)
