Public consultation opening - Day-Ahead Allocation Rules on Serbian borders

On behalf of the relevant TSOs, JAO is launching the public consultation on:

1. Amendments to the existing Day-ahead Allocation Rules, applicable to the following bidding zone borders:
   • Hungary-Serbia (HU-RS)
   • Croatia-Serbia (HR-RS)
   • Bulgaria-Serbia (BG-RS)
      
2. New Day-ahead Allocation Rules for the upcoming North Macedonia-Serbia (MK-RS) bidding zone border

To ensure consistency and transparency across borders, TSOs and JAO have jointly prepared a harmonised main body of the Day-Ahead Allocation Rules (DAR), complemented by border specific annexes (BSAs). The consultation packages are published separately on our website per bidding zone border:

• DAR + HU–RS border specific annex
• DAR + HR–RS border specific annex
• DAR + BG–RS border specific annex
• DAR + MK–RS border specific annex

The DAR main body reflects the latest amendments introduced in the Harmonised Allocation Rules (HAR), approved by ACER through its Decision No 08/2025 on 17th September 2025.

Consultation period:

• 6th October –  5th November 2025 for the borders HU-RS, HR-RS and BG-RS
• 6th –  21st October 2025 for the border MK-RS

All interested parties are invited to submit their comments via e-mail to the e-mail address consultation@jao.eu within the respective deadlines.

Following the consultation, TSOs will evaluate Market Participants’ comments and submit the auction rules and border specific annexes to the responsible NRAs.
