Change of method to determine the GLSK of the CZ bidding zone

Dear Market Participants,

In line with article 24(5) of the Core DA CCM and article 21(5) of the Core ID CCM ČEPS would like to inform you about an upcoming change of the method to determine the GLSK of the CZ bidding zone.

ČEPS aims to align its GLSK strategy based on findings of Core GLSK study. The Core GLSK study found that where the GSK values of each node contained in a TSO's IGM shall be defined in proportion to the absolute values of power injections and withdrawals in the IGM will provide increased accuracy in the calculation of capacities.

The new method will be applied for the DA as well as the ID timeframe. Due to ongoing IT developments the go-live date is not yet set and will be communicated in a market message as soon as possible. The change is expected to be deployed in Q2 2026.
