Public Consultation on the Proposed Implementation of Preliminary Yearly Auctions for LTTRs on the CH–IT Borders
On behalf of Terna and Swissgrid, JAO would like to inform market participants that a public consultation has been launched regarding the proposed implementation of preliminary yearly auctions for Long-Term Transmission Rights (LTTRs) on the CH–IT borders.
The purpose of this consultation is to gather feedback from market participants on the proposed auction design and implementation approach for preliminary yearly auctions allocating a share of the yearly LTTRs for Business Years 2027 and 2028.
Market participants are invited to review the attached consultation documents and submit their comments by 10 August 2026, following the procedures and contact details provided in the respective documents.
The consultation documents include detailed information on the proposed auction products, offered capacities, implementation timeline and consultation process for each border.
