FR<>IT Annual 2027 and 2028 auctions

Following a previous communication on JAO’s website, RTE and Terna are pleased to announce that, over the coming months, the following preliminary auctions will be held for the allocation of yearly Long-Term Transmission Rights (LTTRs) in both directions of the FR–IT border.

• From 29 September to 6 October 2026, preliminary Y+1 auctions will be held to allocate a share of the yearly LTTRs available for Business Year 2027. Financial Transmission Rights – Options will be offered in the form of base products without reduction periods.

Further details can be found in the table below (dates and times in CET):

• From 9 to 16 December 2026, Y+2 auctions will be held to allocate a share of the yearly LTTRs available for Business Year 2028, following the positive outcome of the public consultation on this matter. Financial Transmission Rights – Options will be offered in the form of base products without reduction periods.
