Public consultation opening - Day-ahead allocation rules on Swiss borders and Intraday allocation rules on CH-IT border
On behalf of the relevant TSOs, JAO is launching the public consultations on the proposed amendments of the following documents:
- ‘Rules for daily capacity allocation on Swiss borders’
- ‘Allocation rules for intraday capacity allocation on Switzerland – Italy border’.
The consultation periods run from 27thOctober to 26thNovember 2025.
The proposed amendments of these allocation rules don’t include a date of go live as the planning is still being assessed between TSOs and vendors considering the challenges for development and testing of the tools. The first go live window would be end Q2 - Q3 2026 but it is subject to changes based on TSOs assessment.
All interested parties are invited to submit comments via e-mail by26/11/2025 17:00 CETto the following e-mail address:consultation@jao.eu.
Following the consultation, TSOs will evaluate Market Participants’ comments and submit the auction rules to the responsible NRAs.
