Public consultation opening - Allocation rules for Greece - North Macedonia border

On behalf of IPTO, and in anticipation of the upcoming go-live of the long-term auctions for the Greece - North Macedonia (GR-MK) border, JAO is launching the public consultations on the following documents:
- 'Harmonised Allocation Rules' for application to the GR-MK borderand its 'Border Specific Annex for the Bidding Zone border Greece - North Macedonia'
- 'Rules for Explicit Daily Capacity Allocation on Bidding Zone border serviced by JAO' for application to the GR-MK borderand its 'Border specific annex for Greece-North Macedonia'.
The consultation period runs from 1st to 15th October 2026.
All interested parties are invited to submit their comments via e-mail no later than 15/10/2026 17:00 CET to the following e-mail address: consultation@jao.eu.
Following the consultations, TSO will evaluate Market Participants’ comments and submit the auction rules and the border specific annexes to the responsible NRA.
