Amendment of Eleclink Access Rules

Please be informed that, following the approval of the relevant NRAs, the amended version of the ElecLink Access Rules has been published on our website.

The relevant sections on our website have also been updated with the Access Rules’ subset parts accordingly:

The amended rules include the following changes:

  • The main change is the addition and timing change of the Intraday auction schedule
    • In the first Auction the offered products are each MTU from 00:00 till 08:00
    • In the second Auction the offered products are each MTU from 08:00 till 18:00
    • In the third Auction the offered products are each MTU from 18:00 till 24:00
  • Modifications to ensure alignment with the EU HAR
  • Administrative modifications to reflect the change from National Grid ESO (NGESO) to the new entity National Energy System Operator (NESO)

The amended Access Rules will come into effect on the 19th of March 2025, when ElecLink’s new nomination platform goes live. This also means that the first Intraday Auction will be held with the new timings on the 19th of March 2025.
