[Channel Region] Confirmation of continued market coupling from 29th March to 12th April 2019

Dear Market Participants,
Following the European Council Decision to extend the period under Article 50 and parliamentary approval of the statutory instrument amending references to “exit day” in the EU (Withdrawal) Act 2018, the TSOs of BritNed, IFA and NemoLink are able to confirm that GB will remain inside the Internal Energy Market at least until 12th April 2019. This means that there is no change to existing market coupling procedures and access rules.
The TSOs of BritNed, IFA and NemoLink will make further communications when more information comes to light on any implications as a result of Brexit.
