[Core CCR // HAR] Info on the Core CCR regional Annex to the HAR

In July 2019 Core TSOs have applied for NRA approval on the second amendment of the “Regional Specific Annex for the CCR Core to the Harmonised Allocation Rules for long-term transmission rights in accordance with Article 52 of Regulation (EU) 2016/1719” (“2nd amendment of the Core HAR Annex”). The 2nd amendment of the Core HAR Annex covers the introduction of a compensation cap at the BE-DE/LU bidding zone border in accordance with Article 59(2) of the HAR, as well as the deletion of specific stipulations for the Hungarian/Romanian bidding zone border according to Article 21 of the previous HAR Annex 1. Core Regulatory Authorities have already informed Core TSOs on their agreement from 2nd October 2019 to approve the 2nd amendment of the Core HAR Annex, so that national approval processes are under finalisation. Once all national approvals are received, the 2nd amendment of the Core HAR Annex will enter into force thirty (30) calendar days after the amendment notice is sent to registered participants by the allocation platform in accordance with article 68(2) of the HAR.
