[CWE FB Market Coupling] Announcement of a Light SPAIC

Amprion would like to inform you about an upcoming change of the list of Critical Network Elements used for the FB DA Market Coupling in CWE.
Approximately end of Q4 2019, a new additional line from Rommerskirchen to Sechtem will be in operation in parallel to the existing line that potentially impacts the results of the FB DA Market Coupling in CWE.

Q4 2019: [D7-D7] Rommerskirchen - Sechtem Ville O and [D7-D7] Rommerskirchen - Sechtem Ville W

Therefore, a light SPAIC will be performed.

As discussed in the CWE Consultative Group in April and September 2019, CWE TSOs will use the new methodology to improve transparency of the CWE Flow Based Capacity Calculation, a light SPAIC will be performed e.g. for the addition of new Critical Network Elements used for capacity calculation.
The light SPAIC focuses on the recalculation of flow based parameters for seven business days which will be chosen from a period of one month prior to the SPAIC. The recalculated parameters take into account the change which triggers the SPAIC. The seven days will be representing different grid situations.

Following days will be chosen:

Day 1: Sunday in the available period with the lowest wind infeed in CWE (DE as proxy) - 22/09/2019
Day 2: Workday in the available period with the highest wind infeed in CWE (DE as proxy) - 03/09/2019
Day 3: Workday or Saturday in the available period with average wind/load - 11/09/2019
Day 4-5: Smallest/Largest volume of the Flow Based Domain - 30/09/2019, 29/09/2019
Day 6-7: Lowest/highest exchanges in CWE - 01/09/2019, 24/09/2019

The results of the light SPAIC will be published once available.
