[CWE FB MC DA] LIGHT SPAIC publication - IMPACT ASSESSMENT FOR THE OUTAGE OF 380 kV LINE GRAMME - ACHENE

Published:

Dear Market Participants,

Elia plans the outage of the 380 kV line Gramme - Achêne (380.10) between 27/01/2020 (week 5) and 05/03/2020 (week 10) for high voltage and low voltage works in the substation of Gramme. The capacity of this outaged line is reduced to 0 MW during this period.

Following the continuous effort for enhanced transparency at CWE, ELIA has performed a light SPAIC analysis. A Light SPAIC analysis consists of a comparison of flow-based domains for 7 typical “reference” days, selected by the relevant TSO(s) in the period between 12 and 8 weeks preceding the outage, in order to estimate the impact of a change in grid topology.

In line with the CWE Light SPAIC methodology, the analysis made here gives the relevant Flow-Based parameters of the historical FB domain and the domain obtained by updating the historical grid with the planned outage.

The enclosed documents provide the results of the performed SPAIC analysis for the reference period.

Best Regards,

ELIA
