[CWE Flow-Based Market Coupling] Integration of new tie-line between the Netherlands and Germany

Dear Market Participants,

Amprion and TenneT TSO B.V. would like to inform you about the upcoming integration of the new tie-line between the Netherlands and Germany into the CWE FlowBased Market Coupling. The tie-line is expected to become operational at the end of July 2018.

At the moment we are preparing the input data needed to perform the SPAIC. SPAIC stands for “Standard Procedure for Assessing the Impact of Changes” and consists of a comparison of the CWE flow-based domains and market results for 12 typical “reference” days, commonly predefined by CWE TSOs, in order to estimate the impact of a change in the grid topology or flow-based parameters in the CWE Area. We expect to publish the results in June 2018.
