eCAT and its webservices status

Dear Market participant, 

Our auction tool eCAT faced some performance issues this morning that caused some slowness.

We have investigated the issue and identified that it was due to an external originated issue which resulted in a large volume of webservice requests. Once identifying the issue, we managed to solve the problem quickly. We have been informed that the external issue has also been fixed, and our auction tool eCAT and its webservices are running as usual.

While this morning’s issue is fixed, and we would be able to address this issue faster should it reoccur again, we are working on a permanent fix that would help avoid that such external issues disrupt our systems again.
