Extended registration for the Test Session for the LTFBA Simulation Platform

This is an update about the upcoming test session for the LTFBA Simulation Platform. The testing will be split in 2 sessions:

Session 1: 07/08/25 - 21/08/2025

The registration deadline for session 1 will remain open until 05/08 EOD.

Session 2: dates for registration and duration to be confirmed in the upcoming weeks.

This event presents an excellent opportunity for you to test out the Simulation Platform and will allow you to verify the flow-based capacity parameters and simulate long-term flow-based auctions.

The Simulation Platform supports the upload of two formats for the bid files:

• ECAN v4 XML bid document
• XLSX bid document

In case you would like to register, please reply to this email with the following details:

--> Company name (registered companies only)

--> EIC code

--> Username (if you are already registered in eCAT) or your name

--> Email address

Please note that the upcoming testing phase of the Simulation Platform is intended solely for feedback and familiarization purposes. The available Flow-Based domains will be limited in scope and are not representative of actual production conditions. This phase will allow you to confirm the simulation platform works as expected. Your observations and feedback are essential for us to refine the platform before moving towards a more consolidated setup. We highly value your input to support the platform’s improvement and overall readiness.

In a later phase, the platform will be made available to you to acquire further insights into the allocation algorithm and Flow-Based mechanism.
