FCA Implementation - progress update

Dear Italy North market participants,

Italy North TSOs have been working towards the implementation of the FCA compliant long-term capacity calculation methodology in time for the 2022 yearly auctions, which was achieved successfully.

In order to meet this significant milestone, some reports described in the methodologies are facing a slight delay:

• The reports prescribed by LT CCM Art 12(3) and Splitting Methodology Art 5(1) linked to the yearly auctions 2022 are available on a dedicated page on the JAO website (link).
• The reports prescribed by LT CCM Art 12(3) and Splitting Methodology Art 5(1) linked to the January monthly auctions are available on a dedicated page on the JAO website (link).
• The report prescribed by LT CCM Art 12(4) will be published until 31/01/2022.

We would like to underline that the transparency reporting linked to the long-term auctions has our attention and the aim is to fully automate this process and integrate the publication in the Italy North Publication tool.
