JAO Data publication tool after the go-live of the Core FB DA MC project
Dear Market Participants,
We would like to remind you the details regarding JAO’s publication tools to be used after the go-live of the Core FB DA MC project, as already shared via http://www.jao.eu/news/market-communication-22
The two publication tools to be used:
·Utility Tool, for non-Core data and
·Publication Tool, for Core related data, at this point.
Our aim is to transfer publication of all relevant data to the Publication Tool, but until the process is completed, the two tools will function in parallel and will contain no duplicate data on specific items and borders. In the below “Utility Tool” paragraph, you can find the data items that will continue to be updated in the Utility Tool – for all other data, please use the Publication Tool, asthe Utility Tool will no longer receive other inputs except the ones highlighted below.
Utility Tool
The Excel-based Utility tool will continue to be operational until further notice and will publish non-Core border data.
Existing historical CWE FB data within the Utility Tool will still be kept for one year after Core FB MC go-live until 09/06/2023 in case Market Participants wish to download some of its data. After 09/06/2023 the CWE historical CWE FB data will not be available anymore.

Publication Tool
The Publication Tool is developed to ensure increased performance, stability and functionality compared to its predecessor, the Utility Tool, and is a modern website-based solution supporting Web services, search capabilities and download/export functionality. The Publication Tool will replace the Utility Tool as the sole application for the publication of Core border data (and non-Core border data, once implemented).The publication handbook (attached) contains an overview of data that will be published, along with the relevant information required to utilize the Publication tool.
