Market Communication: CANCELLATION OF DAILY AUCTION AT GREECE – ITALY INTERCONNECTION ON 10/10/2017

Dear Market Participants,

JAO informs you on behalf of Terna and ADMIE as follows:

October 9th, 2017

Terna and ADMIE inform market participants that a fault is affecting the link between Italy and Greece. Terna and ADMIE are carrying out all the necessary measures to fix the issue as soon as possible but presently we are unable to forecast when the link between Italy and Greece will be back in operation.

The ATC for the daily auctions (imports & exports) will be set to zero (0) for delivery date 10/10/2017 and the daily auctions will not be performed.

Terna and ADMIE will do their best to timely inform market participants through their web sites about the evolution of the restoration activities.
