Modification of the Belgian External Constraint value during commissioning of NEMO

Published:

Dear Market Participants,

In accordance with our message of 29 May 2018, the Belgian External Constraint value for import is currently set at 5500MW.

From business day Thursday the 3rd of January 2019 and until the end of the commissioning phase of Nemo Link (which is currently foreseen till end of Jan 2019), this value will have to be adapted to take into account the expected tests leading to high active power flows on Nemo Link.

In case of expected physical flow from UK to Belgium, the Belgian External Constraint value for import will be decreased of this quantity which can be found on: https://www.bmreports.com/bmrs/?q=remit/COMMISSIONING001-ELXP-RMT-00000001/2/NEMO1.

In case of expected physical flow from Belgium to UK, the Belgian External Constraint value for import will be increased of this quantity which can be found on: https://www.bmreports.com/bmrs/?q=remit/COMMISSIONING001-ELXP-RMT-00000002/2/NEMO1.

This adaptation is valid for all time stamps and all days. This change will be applied from delivery day 03/01/2019 (day-ahead market coupling 02/01/2019) for the CWE day-ahead Flow-Based market coupling.

Best regards,
