Registration for BritNed Long Term and Shadow auctions

Dear Market Participants,

To facilitate BritNed launching long-term auctions via JAO’s platform eCAT, please complete the attached documents and return to JAO before 12 November 2019. If you currently have capacity on BritNed, this registration must be completed to ensure you have access to your capacity after the transition to the eCAT platform.

In the event of a No-Deal Brexit, the Participant Agreement will become invalid for the BritNed border as they will not be using the eCAT platform for their long-term auctions or shadow auctions. This will not require a further amendment to the Participant Agreement

To register to participate in LT auctions on the BritNed (GB-NL) border:

First time registration:

Please sign and send the JAO Participation Agreement.

Already registered with JAO:

No action is needed, LT entitlements for the BritNed border will be given automatically.

To register to participate in shadow auctions on the BritNed (GB-NL) border:

First time registration:

Please send the JAO Participation Agreement with the declaration of accepting the “Relevant Shadow Allocation Rules” in Attachment 1 section 3 and select the border on Attachment 6.

Already registered, but have not sent Amendment No. 10 to Participation Agreement and wish to participate in shadow auctions on the BritNed (GB-NL) border:

Please complete Amendment No. 10 to Participation Agreement properly filled and signed accepting the “Relevant Shadow Allocation Rules” in Attachment 1 section 3 and select the border on Attachment 6.
