Registration for GR-IT shadow auctions

Dear Market Participant,

 

We would like to inform you that day-ahead market coupling on the Greece-Italy border will go-live on the 15th December, for market day 16th December. This means that from this date explicit daily auctions on the Greece-Italy border will cease to be performed by JAO and shadow auctions will be launched, serving as the fallback solution for the day-ahead market coupling.

 

We are opening now the registration for the Greece-Italy shadow auctions. All pertaining documents can be found on our website (Support>>Resource Center>>01. Registration). The relevant allocation rules, the “Shadow Allocation Rules 1.4” and the “Rules for Daily Capacity Allocation on Swiss Borders and Italy – Greece Border” has been updated (Support>>Resource Center>>02. Auction Rules), by reflecting the new border in Annex 1 and Annex 2 of the shadow rules and by removing the Greece-Italy border from the daily rules. Please note that both these rules are still pending for regulatory approval.

 

1. First time registration

Please send the Participation Agreement accepting the “Relevant Shadow Allocation Rules” in Attachment 1 section 3 and selecting this border in Attachment 6, along with other registration documents.

 

2. Already registered

Please complete and send the Amendment No. 14 to Participation Agreement properly filled and signed, accepting the “Relevant Shadow Allocation Rules” in Attachment 1 section 3 and selecting this border in Attachment 6.
