Registration for Nemo Link intraday auctions
Dear Market Participants,
As you may be aware, the Nemo Link (GB-Belgium) interconnector is developing its Intraday Explicit Product, expected to go live by the end of 2019. In preparation for the go-live of the Nemo Link’s Intraday Explicit Auctions on JAO’s eCAT platform, herewith we would like to launch the registration process to ensure enough time for our Market Participants to go through the necessary steps.
1. First time registration
Please send the JAO Participation Agreement with the declaration of accepting the “Rules for Intraday Capacity Allocation on the Great Britain-Belgium Border” in Attachment 1 section 3, along with other registration documents.
2. Already registered, but have not sent Amendment No. 8 to Participation Agreement and wish to participate in the Intraday Auctions for GB-Belgium Border
Please send Amendment No. 8 to Participation Agreement properly filled and signed accepting the “Rules for Intraday Capacity Allocation on the Great Britain-Belgium Border” in Attachment 1 section 3.
3. Already registered and have sent Amendment No. 8 to Participation Agreement, but wish to modify your choices
Please send the MODIFICATION REQUEST form for participating in Intraday auctions held on the Nemo Link interconnector and attach the amended page(s).
You can find the relevant Rules (both IEM rules and non-IEM rules) published on our website and Nemo Link’s website. Please take into account that this version of the “Rules for Intraday Capacity Allocation on the GB-Belgian Border” is a proposal which have been submitted to the National Regulatory Authorities but not yet been approved (expected by November/December of 2019). This version is a pre-requisite before any explicit intraday auctions can be held on Nemo Link.
Together with the above steps to sign up to the Intraday Allocation Rules for the GB-Belgium border, it is required for Market Participants to sign a Nomination Participation Agreement with Nemo Link to have the ability to nominate Intraday Transmission Rights.
