Registration Opening for the auctions on the Hungary - Serbia border

Please be kindly informed that, after the successful NRA approval process the new Rules  for Explicit Daily Capacity Allocation on  Bidding Zone border Hungary-Serbia is available on our website, alongside with the new version of the Harmonized Allocation Rules updated with the new “Annex 11 Border Specific Annex for the Bidding Zone border Hungary – Serbia to the Harmonised Allocation Rules for Long-Term Transmission Rights”.

We would like to inform you that explicit auctions for the above mentioned border will be launched on JAO’s allocation platform by the following:

  • Yearly Auction for Market Period 2024 will open on 12.12.2023
  • Monthly Auction for Market Period January 2024 will open on 22.12.2023
  • Day Ahead Auction for Market Period 01.01.2023 will open on 31.12.2023

Registration to participate in these auctions is now available.

In order to participate in the day ahead auctions please amend your Participation Agreement by accepting the “Rules for Explicit Daily Capacity Allocation on Bidding Zone border Hungary-Serbia”. The Amendment to the Participation Agreement can be found on our website.

The necessary long-term entitlements to participate in the long-term auctions will be granted to every Market Participants who holds a valid Participation Agreement with JAO. No additional documentation, nor registration are required.
