Registration Opening for CH-IT Intraday Auctions

Dear Market Participant,

We would like to inform you that the Intraday Explicit Auctions on the Switzerland – Italy (CH<>IT) border are planned to go-live on the 28th September, for market day 29th September.

We are opening now the registration for Switzerland – Italy Intraday Explicit auctions.

To register for the above mentioned auction, the relevant additional rule has to be accepted, and the Market Participant needs to hold a Balancing Group Contract both with the Italian TSO (Terna) and with the Swiss TSO (Swissgrid).

The relevant allocation rules, the “Allocation Rules for Intraday Capacity Allocation on Switzerland – Italy Border” has been uploaded, it can be found on the following link:

Please note, that Auction Rules are under NRA approval, and may be subject to change.

1. First time registration with JAO

Please send the Participation Agreement accepting the relevant “Additional Allocation Rules” in Attachment 1 section 3, along with other registration documents.

2. Already registered with JAO

Please complete and send the Amendment No. 18 to Participation Agreement properly filled and signed, accepting the relevant “Additional Allocation Rules” in Attachment 1 section 3.

Let us also kindly remind you, that this Amendment overwrites the previous one. According to that, please complete it properly. Please accept all the rules and select all the borders where you want to participate.
