Reminder: Viking Link interconnector technical go-live on the 6th of December

We would like to remind you that the technical go-live for the new Viking Link Interconnector, between Denmark and Great Britain, will take place on 5th of December in the afterwork hours, for delivery day 6th of December.

As of that date you will be able to bid on the Viking Link auctions with zero values.

Please note that the Commercial go-live has been amended to 28th December (instead of 31st December) with the first Day-Ahead Auction with non-zero values, for delivery day 29th December (instead of the original date 1st of January).

The Intraday auctions for delivery day 29th December will run as following:

•             ID1 from 00:00-08:00 CET with zero values.

•             ID2 from 08:00-16:00 CET with non-zero values

The exact timing of the Day Ahead and Intraday auctions will be communicated in the coming weeks.
