SDAC 15-Minute MTU Members’ Testing Phase – Registration information

Dear Market Participants,

We are excited to announce that the members’ testing phase of the 15-minute MTU will begin in April. During this phase, the focus will be on ensuring all systems are fully optimized and ready for seamless implementation. Testing will allow to fine-tune processes, validate key scenarios and ensure everything is in place for a smooth launch.

TSO cross-border nomination processes and JAO shadow auctions will be active and available only during the first three days of execution with the following scenarios:

  • 07/04 – Normal day (with nominations);
  • 08/04 – Full decoupling with shadow auction (with nominations)
  • 09/04 - Partial decoupling Nordic region (with Nordic regional coupling) (with nominations).

Your active involvement is crucial for the success of this test. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition to the 15-Minute MTU framework.

It is important to note that registration is limited to members already participating in the shadow auction allocation in the production environment. Moreover, the interconnector(s) entitlement(s) will be copied from the production environment, to facilitate the nomination of shadow auction capacity towards the TSOs.

Deadline for registration is 01/04. A reminder will be sent shortly before the end of the registration window.
