Shadow Auctions on FR-ES border go-live

Dear market participants, In the context of an harmonization of the Allocation Rules, the European TSOs have drafted new harmonized allocation rules for the fall-back procedure if the day-ahead Multi Regional Coupling (MRC) cannot take place, namely the Shadow Allocation Rules (SAR). This latter have been approved by CMNC and CRE. Furthermore, Spanish Operational Procedure 3.1 that regulates the nomination of PTRs allocated through Shadow Auctions in Spain has been approved and will apply from the 10th of February 2016. Therefore, the Shadow Allocations Rules will apply on the France – Spain border for all daily allocation with a delivery date from the 11th of February 2016 on.
