Switch to Allocation Constraint

Dear Market Participants,
Elia would like to inform you that it will change the approach for the submission of the Belgian maximum import constraint. The External Constraint of today, sent as input for the regional day-ahead capacity calculation process, will be replaced by an Allocation Constraint, sent as direct constraint input for the implicit day-ahead market coupling algorithm.
The reference value for the maximum import constraint remains 6500 MW (as communicated in our message of 04.11.2020), corrected with the forecasted physical flow on the Nemo Link Interconnector.
This change will apply as from delivery day 13th of January 2021.
