Transition to 15-Minute Time Resolution for IBWT Publication Tool

Dear Market Participant,

In line with the legal framework established by the European Commission, all Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in EU Member States are required to adopt a 15-minute time resolution for imbalance settlement. This results in an obligation for all Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMOs) to offer 15-minute products for trading on all SIDC and SDAC coupled markets.

As part of this transition, starting from the delivery day 01/01/2025, we will update our IBWT publication tool to support 15-minute Market Time Unit (MTU) products. This change aligns with the updated Italian prices and ensures consistency with the new requirements.

All data available via the IBWT publication tool at https://publicationtool.jao.eu/ibwt/ will now also be provided in 15-minute MTU.

We encourage you to update your internal systems if you are using the API to retrieve the data, ensuring that it correctly reflects the 15-minute MTU format instead of the 60-minute format.
