Update: Go-Live of the Monthly Auctions for the Ukraine-Hungary, Ukraine-Slovakia and Ukraine-Romania borders

Dear Market Participants,


We would like to inform you that in anticipation of the upcoming go-live of the monthly auctions for the Ukrainian borders on JAO's platform, the HAR 2024 for EU external borders has been amended with the Border Specific Annexes for the following borders and published on our website:

  • Ukraine-Slovakia: UA <> SK
  • Ukraine-Hungary: UA <> HU
  • Ukraine-Romania: UA <> RO

The HAR 2026 is pending approval by the Ukrainian NRA. Once approved, the current documentation will be amended and published with the relevant notice period.

Monthly auctions for Market Period January 2026 will open on 15.12.2025.


Entitlements for monthly auctions will be granted by default to all Market Participants who are already registered with JAO. No additional documentation is required.
