Update of the Harmonized Allocation Rules

Dear Market Participants,

According to Article 68 (5) of the Harmonised Allocation Rules (HAR) TSOs and the Single Allocation Platform shall periodically review the rules at least every two years. In February 2021 the review process started. TSOs hold a public consultation from  03 May till 03 June  on the proposed HAR amendments. The amended HAR was submitted to ACER on 25 June 2021 and ACER approved the rules on 29 November 2021.

The amended HAR main body will enter into force on 30 November 2021 and shall apply to all long-term transmission rights with a delivery period starting from 1 January 2022.

In parallel the HAR border specific annexes from CCR Core and CCR GRIT were reviewed by the respective TSOs and amended. Both amended annexes were approved by the respective NRAs and shall apply to all long-term transmission rights with a delivery period starting from 1 January 2022.
