Update: Legislative obligations for Ukrainian borders

On behalf of UKRENERGO, we would like to provide you with the latest update regarding the registration process with the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC).

Please be kindly informed that on December 18, 2024, NEURC (the Ukrainian NRA) adopted changes to the procedure for registering wholesale market participants. You can find the full details of the updated procedure here: NEURC Update.

As a result of these changes, non-residents of Ukraine are no longer required to obtain an ECRB code if they already possess an ACER or ECRB code issued by a country that is a member of the Energy Community. Therefore, there is no change in the current procedure for registering market participants.
