Ukraine – Slovakia Intraday Auctions Deployed – First Auction on 11 November

Dear Market Participants,

Following our previous communication, we are pleased to inform you that the intraday auctions on the Ukraine – Slovakia (UA<>SK) border have been successfully deployed on JAO’s allocation platform and are now available in the Auction Tool.

First auction:

•             Auction: Intraday 00-24 (ID1), both directions (UA-SK and SK-UA)

•             Auction date: 11 November 2026

•             Offered capacity published: by 16:42 CET

•             Bidding period: 16:45–17:00 CET

•             Delivery: 12 November 2026, 00:00–24:00

The Intraday 12-24 auctions (ID2) will start on 12 November 2026, with bidding from 08:45 to 09:00 CET, for hours 12:00–24:00 of the same day.

Daily schedule from go-live:

•             ID1 – hours 00:00–24:00 of D: bidding D-1 16:45–17:00 CET

•             ID2 – hours 12:00–24:00 of D: bidding D 08:45–09:00 CET

Before the first auction, please make sure that:

•             you hold entitlements for the Ukraine – Slovakia border under the Rules for intraday capacity allocation on Ukrainian borders. Market Participants already registered with JAO can request them by submitting the latest version of the Amendment to the Participation Agreement (available at https://www.jao.eu/resource-center/registration) via JAO Support Hub (support.jao.eu);

•             you hold either an Agreement on the settlement of imbalances with NPC Ukrenergo, or a Framework Agreement on Electricity Transmission through Connecting Lines with SEPS together with an Agreement on Settlement of Imbalances with OKTE;

•             sufficient collaterals are in place.
